WAREHOUSE OPERATOR- (MSV-MLT-JUNE-006)
 
An exciting opportunity for a WAREHOUSE OPERATOR to join our dynamic team based at Medserv Operations Ltd facility in Malta.
 
Experience & Education Requirements
  • 1+ year’s experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Clean Driving License.
  • Able to drive Forklift (3mt). And holds Forklift Licence.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Read and write good English.
  • Awareness of Dangerous goods, Msds and hazard classification.
  • Able to fill up checklist forms and count Basic Mathematics.
  • Basic understanding of Excel, Word, and uploading of photos online.
  • Understanding of executing picking and put aways.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and possess time management skills.
  • Highly organized with an eye for detail positive can-do attitude.
  • Must be able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry materials.
  • Knowledge, skills, experience and attributes

Key Responsibilities/ Objectives
  • Unloading of material from truck, to sorting area or any location instructed by material controller.
  • Check for any damages before and during unloading.
  • Signing of delivery notes upon unloading of received materials.
  • Verify quantity of consignments received against delivery note.
  • Responsible for highlighting any discrepancies/damages found to Material controller if any discrepancies at consignment level against delivery note.
  • Pick of material from storage location and transfer to designated location.
  • Put away of material after inputted in system by material controller to designated location.
  • Responsible for warehouse reference marking of goods.
  • Ensures correct labelling is fixed to materials before put away to designated location.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure warehouse doors are secured accordingly before end of shift.
  • Operate warehouse receiving list to plan daily workload.
  • Take photos of material received and upload to system.
  • Repackaging of material.
  • Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in transit warehouse.
  • Manage stock of empty pallets, stretch and seal and housekeeping equipment.
  • To Ensure that warehouses are kept clean and secured as required.
  • To ensure adequate record keeping of documents handled.
  • To assist and liaise with material controllers and materials team leader with any warehouse related duties required.
  • To ensure that forklift check list is done accordingly daily.
  • Assist in any physical checks on any material stored under a Medserv reference number carried out by Material controllers.
  • Take weight of material as requested by Material controller.
  • Carry out duties as instructed by the Materials Manager / Team Leader
