PROCUREMENT OFFICER (MED-MLT-JAN-003)
Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a PROCUREMENT OFFICER to join our dynamic team based at Medserv Operations Ltd facility in Malta.
YOUR COMMITMENT
- Responsible for the procurement of Goods and Services for both internal Medserv requirements, and client requests, following respective procurement procedure.
- Communicate with internal stakeholders and clients to understand their requirements.
- Request for quotations based on needs identified by respective requester.
- Endeavour in sourcing activities for requested goods and negotiate pricing with vendors, ensuring savings and sales targets are achieved.
- Review shipment requirements, including obtaining respective shipping costs through the shipping dept.
- Issue official quotations to clients as per contracts/ Issue cost comparisons for internal requests.
- Chasing quotes pending approvals and necessary back-up documentation.
- Raise purchase orders with suppliers and follow order until it arrives at the Base.
- Dealing with orders for clients and issuing of all necessary documents.
- Input data in reports as required by the procedure.
- Hand over all related documentation to finance personnel for payments/ records in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain a professional business rapport with vendors and clients
