GENERAL LABOURERS - (MED-CYP-JANUARY-003)

Currently we have 6 exciting opportunities for GENERAL LABOURERS to join our dynamic team based at MEDSERV facility in Cyprus.
YOUR CHALLENGE:
- Participate in the loading/offloading operations, handling services at the operations base, quayside, pipe yards or any other designated area as a member of the crew of banksmen/slingers. Ensure that all rigging, slinging and handling works are performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate Vehicles, Mechanized Devices, or Equipment - Running, manoeuvring, navigating, or driving vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts, passenger vehicles and trucks. Also, to operate equipment entrusted such as vans/fork lifter diligently and in a safe manner.
- Perform all work within Health, Safety, Security, Environment and Quality procedures instructed by Health and Safety Manager and Operations Team Leader.
- Perform other tasks as may be required by the Operations Team Leader such as removal of the debris, sweep areas, sort waste disposal and dock/yard duties as assigned.
- Perform other base duties includes but not limited to: Rigging and Slinging of Equipment such as pipe slinging, container slinging etc., general labouring, mud plant bag cutting and dock/yard duties as assigned.
- To STOP THE JOB whenever an act that is about to endanger life (or asset) is about to take place
WHO ARE YOU:
- Fluent in written and spoken Greek language.
- Basic Knowledge of the English Language.
- Holder of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Holder of a clean driving licence.
- Holder of a clean criminal report.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to handle specific daily tasks delegated by Operations Team Leader and Base Operations Manager.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Team Oriented Personality.
- Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- Reliable and have an ethical mindset.
- Willing to work flexible hours and public holidays.
